Super Last Minute Canada đ Day's Outfit Ideas
StartFragmentHappy Tuesday! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week!
Back to when I used to live in Ottawa, we would always celebrate Canada Day all decked out in Canada Day gear - wearing reds and whites, putting Canada Day temporary tattoos on and at least holding onto a paper mini flag throughout the day!
Tomorrow is Canada Day and for those of you who are planning to celebrate it, but still don't know what to wear - you have come to the right place. I have a few super last minute outfit ideas for you and hopefully they will be able to provide you with some ideas of what you can do with the pieces you currently have in your closet! EndFragment

Simply pair any red and white pieces together. It can be any tank tops/t-shirts with shorts/pants, whichever you have and will feel comfortable walking around in. If you don't have red or white shorts/pants, it is perfectly ok to pair that red or white top with your favourite pair of bottoms!
To add a little style to the outfit, tie a funnel shirt around your waist. If you have a red or white one, that would be perfect! If not, still tie any funnel shirt or even a cardigan you have available in your closet around your waist cause it will always come in handy if it ever gets chilly.
To finish this outfit off, I have paired it with my favourite pair of sneakers. The key is to wear your most comfortable pair of shoes because there will probably be a lot of walking around!
This outfit is perfect for an entire day out, especially if you plan on walking around core downtown areas or where the parades/celebrations are at!

StartFragmentIf you are celebrating the day with a date or your other half and want to dress up a little while being able to move around freely, a maxi dress will be the perfect choice! As I have mentioned in an earlier post, maxi dresses are like the pretty version of leggings - comfy while looking casually dressed up.
This outfit is great for a simple day out if you plan on strolling in the park or a beach and dining at a restaurant. I have paired the maxi dress with one of my favourite pair of sandals this summer along with a straw hat.
Remember, a red maxi dress is just what I happen to have in my closet. You can always wear a white maxi dress or even any kind of red/white dresses that you may have in your closet! And if all fails, wear a dress with a red or white accent on it or accessorize with those colours!

If your style is a minimalist chic or you just simply don't want to go all out with the colours, wear the colours subtly. Here I have toned down the whites with a black vest and added a hint of red with my cross body bag.
This outfit is perfect for a simple day out, if you are hanging out with your friends and just want to see what's happening around the city/town!
